The Onewheel GT is one of the most popular personal electric vehicles on the market.
When I was first getting started I wanted to know what accessories were worth buy and which were a save for later purchase. Here are some of the best Onewheel GT accessories in my opinion:
- Fender: A fender is an essential accessory that helps keep dirt, water, and debris from splashing onto your feet and legs while riding. It provides a cleaner and more enjoyable ride, especially in wet conditions. I never take mine off. Love it.
- Rail Guards: Rail guards are protective covers that attach to the sides of your Onewheel GT’s rails. They protect the board from scratches, dings, and scuffs that can occur during regular use or when performing tricks. Rail guards also offer an opportunity to customize the look of your board with various colors and designs. On one of my first rides with my Pint I fell and scraped the crap out of the rails. These are a must.
- Float Plates: Float plates are durable and protective plates that cover the bottom of your Onewheel GT. They safeguard the underside of the board from damage caused by rocks, curbs, or other obstacles. Float plates also give your Onewheel GT a sleek and stylish appearance. These are not a must have, but very nice. The bumpers aren’t that expensive so I usually figure I’ll just buy new bumpers, but both are good.
- Helmet and Safety Gear: Safety should always be a priority when riding any electric board. Invest in a quality helmet designed for action sports, along with other protective gear such as knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. Choose safety gear that offers proper protection and a comfortable fit. I wear a full face helmet and depending on the activity I also wear elbow and knee guards. Stay safe out there.
- Float Life Savers: Float Life Savers are specially designed bumpers that attach to the edges of your Onewheel GT footpad. They offer added protection to the edges of your board, preventing damage from impacts or accidental drops. Float Life Savers can extend the lifespan of your Onewheel GT and provide peace of mind during rides. Plus they look dope. I love mine.
